The Prophecy of Seducing Spirits

Proverbs 7:6-27…For at the window of my house I looked through my casement, 7 And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding, 8 Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house, 9 In the twilight, in the evening , in the black and dark night: 10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart. 11 (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house: 12 Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.) 13 So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him, 14 I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows. 15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee. 16 I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt. 17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. 18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves. 19 For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey: 20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed. 21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him. 22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks; 23 Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life. 24 Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. 25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. 26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. 27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

Right away when you read this passage you think this story is about a prostitutes trap and the warning for young men of Yahuwah against adultery, but you will soon see its much more to this story. This story is prophecy concerning something very dark that will come about around the time before the coming of Yahusha Meshiach (The Messiah). Many bible scholars, teachers, pastors and bishops are not even aware of it, and they themselves are even affected by it because they simply never saw it coming.

Lets take a moment to look at the prophecy in this passage: “For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey: He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.” The Goodman is none other than Yahusha Meshiach (The Messiah) who will come at the appointed day.

Yahuwah refers to himself as being the goodman in the parable of the laborers (Matthew 20:1-16) The strange women used religion to entice them to yield to her ways, she said: “I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows.” This was her way of telling him that I’m not living in sin, Because she observed ceremonies and offerings to make satisfaction for their sins. In peace offerings a portion is returned to them that offered, this is the way she shows him that she has meat at home to make good cheer with.

This story is prophecy about what will take place in the last days just before the coming of our Yahusha. This is a seducing spirit that will come forth in the last days to tempt the people of Yahuwah to listen to her doctrines and to commit spiritual fornication against Yahuwah. This is why Solomon said: “Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.” It is impossible for a women to be at every corner, this is a spirit and Solomon is saying that she will be everywhere. The young man simply never saw it coming, “For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.” This story is an illustration of what Paul spoke of in his letter to Timothy: “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.” These seducing spirits will tempt the saints of Yahuwah in the same way that the young man in proverbs 7 was tempted and enticed with the flattery of her lips she forced them.

Lets look at the facts about this women in proverbs 7. Solomon calls her a strange women because her actions are totally different from that of a good women; Solomon describes her as being flirtatious, subtle, loud, stubborn and lustful, her feet abide not in her house, she is a women of the streets, a nightwalker and she has the attire of a harlot. Now, the most important thing I need to mention is that she is a very religious woman. Solomon could have just simply called her a harlot but he didn’t, why? That’s because she is a stranger, a foreign women religious with strange gods. Solomon uses the words in proverbs 7:5…That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.

Hebrew word for strange is zuwr {zoor} strange woman, prostitute, harlot and the Hebrew word for stranger is nokriy {nok-ree’} foreign woman, harlot. When Solomon tells the story we imagine him actually looking through the casement of a window and watching this event unfold right before his eyes, but once you read the full story you can see that this was impossible. He would have had to follow this young man to her house a witness the seduction. So if he was not there how could he have known what took place there? Solomon knew from first hand experience in personally dealing with these strange women:

1 Kings 11: 1,2…
But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites; 2 Of the nations concerning which Yahuwah said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.

These strange women and their strange doctrines after their strange gods caused Solomon’s heart to turn away from Yahuwah. Even though Solomon had more wisdom and understanding than anyone, they still had Solomon worshiping their false gods. Solomon’s life was an ensample to us that no matter how wise or smart we think we may be, we can still be seduced. “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.” Solomon was the one that said “Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman: That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words. I thought wisdom and understanding was to keep him from the stranger which flattereth with her words, so then what happened to Solomon? The same thing that happened to the young man: With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.
The reason why they were defeated in their dealings with the strange women is that they had itching ears, and listened to her speak to them until they were forced follow her and was to weak to stand. This strange women was subtle of heart which was the same description given about Satan. Subtle means to be shrewd, crafty, sly, and sensible and they simply never saw it coming.

Let us learn a lesson from Solomon, the most wise man in the scriptures (other than Yahusha)
With all his wisdom and knowledge, even he was seduced by this spirit. Beware! This spirit is here strong in the churches, and what is she doing? She is pushing her evil doctrines of devils on the minds of the people of Yahuwah.
