One of the biggest misconceptions concerning the Spirit of Jezebel is that it generally works in women, and if you listen to various preachers and teachers concerning this subject, it’s usually about lust, and seductive women or women preachers and teachers. They talk about how the women are being used by this spirit to bring lust, and sensual style dressing into the congregations. This is the spirit of lust working in these women, and might not even be the Jezebel spirit. Let’s look at the scriptures concerning the spirit of Jezebel and you will see that her main concentration of attack is far greater than most even realize.

Revelation 2:20-29….Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

I am going to expose to you the spirit of Jezebel and how she moves and seduces the people of Yahweh in these last days. You may not agree that this above scripture have anything to do with the churches today, you may also think that this particular scripture does not have anything to do with the old testament Jezebel, since it is written in revelations. Some bible scholars think that the Jezebel in revelations is an actual person in the early church at Thyatira, but this isn’t the case. This Jezebel spirit was not only working in the old and new testament congregation, but also in today’s churches in these latter times.

First let us look at the story and life of Jezebel in close detail to determine what kind of person she was and what type of characteristics she possessed.

Jezebel the Queen and Ahab the King

Jezebel and Ahab were perhaps the worst husband and wife teem ever recorded in the Bible. They did more to provoke the Yahweh to anger than just about anyone. The couple is first recorded in 1 kings 16:31-33 and their terror ends in 2 kings 10. Ahab was the king of Israel which took a foreign women to wife (Jezebel) and worshiped her foreign gods, and eventually the wife Jezebel the Queen became more powerful than the King himself. They had their own prophets who worshiped baal, a foreign canaanite god and they literally fought against Yahweh and his true prophets; Elijah and Elisha. We will shortly see as the story unfolds how similar their situation is to ours in the last days, and how the spirit of Jezebel and Ahab are moving through the church communities by seduction and deception. The spirit of Elijah is also prophesied by Yahshua to return in the last days to restore all things. Before we take a look into these scriptures, let me remind you that the scripture speaks about these things as being examples and ensamples for us:

1 Corinthians 10:6,11

Identify the spirit of Ahab

Jezebel cannot penetrate the church of Yahweh unless there is an Ahab sitting in the pulpit. Ahab is the key to her success. It is very important that we understand this. So, in order to go further in this study we must first Identify the spirit of Ahab.

1 Kings 16:30-33.…Ahab married an evil women that was a worshiper of Baal, to whom also Ahab built an alter for Baal in the house of Baal. Baal was a Canaanite god, the name of Baal means “Lord or Master”

The word Baal soon became identified with various gods of the land of Canaan that were thought to provide fertility for crops and live stock. At the time that Ahab the

King ruled there was a rivalry between the prophets of Baal (Baalism) and Elijah and the true worshippers of Yahweh. Ahab the king had no integrity to stand against Jezebel and her foreign god. This King had no integrity to stand for Yahweh, and he actually stood by while Jezebel had the prophets of Yahweh killed. He was whimper of a king, when Elijah had the prophets of Baal killed he went running to her to tell her all Elijah had done, as if she was king.

Many Christian leaders today are just like Ahab, they are weak jelly backs without a backbone. Ahab could not stand to his wicked wife. Keep in mind that t he Jezebel today is not the wives of these leaders, but an evil spirit that seduces the men of Yahweh to commit spiritual fornication against Yahweh. They are in the bed with Jezebel and refuse to stand. They have allow her to set up alters to Baal and to breed false prophets into the church of Yahweh. Many men of Yahweh do not even recognize her, and in most cases she comes into the church undetected.

 Jezebel had 450 prophets of Baal, and another 400 prophets of the groves which did eat at her table, and these prophets would prophesy whatsoever she needed, and Ahab would allow it. These prophets would eat things sacrificed unto idols at her table, and they were worshipers that joined the priests and temple prostitutes in sacred orgies went on before the altars.  How many ministers today are eating at her table things that are unfit for consumption, and preaching things that are unfit to preach. Having spiritual orgies with doctrines of devils and having babies. They are breeding thousands of false prophets.

Another thing about Ahab is that he did not like the things that Yahweh’s prophets prophesied, he called on prophets that would tickle his ears with some fancy prophecy of the future. They did not want the truth, so Yahweh sent them a lie. Don’t tell the king and his people  they’re wrong and that Yahweh is going to punish them if they continue in sin. This is why Elijah the prophet was sent to tell the king that a famine was coming to the land to punish them for their disobedience. Yahweh is calling forth ministers andpreachers that will tell the people the truth no matter how much they don’t like it. The spirit of Ahab needs to be Identified in the churches and cast down so that there is nothing to hinder the Spirit of Yahweh.

When Ahab, the king of Israel and Jehosaphat went to battle against the Syrian army, Ahab gathered the prophets to prophecy about the battle. These prophets prophesied that Yahweh would deliver the enemy into their hands, but Jehosaphat didn’t want to rely on these prophets only. And Jehoshaphat said , Is there not here a prophet of the Most High besides, that we might enquire of him? And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the Most High: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said , Let not the king say so. (1 Kings 22:6-8)

We are sometimes just like Ahab, we only want to here the good things preached to us, but Ahab went a little further as to hate the man of Yahweh for telling the truth and latter he even tried to manipulate the prophet Micaiah:

The two kings sat on each others throne and had all the prophets prophesy first, then afterwards th ey called in Micaiah and said, “Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good. And Micaiah said, As the Most High liveth, what the Most High saith unto me, that will I speak.” (1 Kings 22:13-14) The true man of Yahweh will only say what thus saith Yahweh. What is more amazing about this story is these prophets were not the prophets of Baal,  they were the prophets of Yahweh, but Yahweh had put a lying spirit in the mouth of these prophets. (1 Kings 22:23-25) Did you know that one of these prophets had nerve to smite Micaiah on the face in the defense of false prophecy. Most High help us and let us not be as these prophets and leaders. Let us speak the truth and be not deceived to speak lies and hypocrisy.

Ahab and Jezebel didn’t like the messages that were coming from the true prophets of Yahweh, so they had them killed. They wanted prophets that would preach a pleasing doctrine with no conviction. Just like the people in the churches today, they want you to keep

quiet about their sins. They don’t want to hear about hell and judgment, or the coming of Yahshua. They just love the “LOVE Doctrine,” you know the one that says you can live like any sinner and do all kinds of abominations and still make it into heaven because Yahweh loves you. They say things like Yahweh will except you like you are and does not require you to repent. As a matter of fact they have a new way to save people that’s different than the way that Yahshua and the apostles taught. If you preach against sin, they will be quick to say that you are judging, and when you reveal any truth which goes against what they believe, they will be the first to call you legalistic. They tell you to shut up and let Yahweh deal with the people. This is the Jezebel Spirit working at it’s best to muzzle the mouth of Yahweh’s true prophets. Throughout the scriptures we see Yahweh sending prophets to preach to Israel about their sins, this is why Elijah was sent to show the people their transgressions. When Elijah first went to Ahab, he came to tell him about the famine that Yahweh put on the Land to punish the people for their disobedience. Yahweh is truly calling for Ministers to go forth and tell the people the truth whether they like it or not, whether they will obey or not, in season or out of season.

Identify the spirit of Jezebel

Her life is recorded in 1st kings 16:30 thru 2nd kings 9:37 . When we hear the name Jezebel we automatically think prostitute or harlot , but we don’t think about witchcraft, manipulation and rebellion to authority. This is the type of evil spirit that was working through Jezebel and because she was the wife of the king Ahab, this made her a Queen. She used her husbands authority and power to manipulate the kingdom of Israel and cause over ten million Hebrews to backslide and to bow to Baal. Yahwehs people all but forsook the covenant, destroyed the sacred altars and killed the prophets of Yahweh ,all because of one woman, and she had no respect for Yahweh, and the words of his prophets. It was Jezebel who killed the prophets of Yahweh and even sought to kill Elijah. Ahab the king was afraid to do certain things because he feared Yahweh , but the Queen Jezebel was bold in doing these things because she had no fear for Yahweh at all .

When Ahab wanted to purchase a vineyard of nabath a servant of Yahweh, Nabath didn’t sell to Ahab because Yahweh forbid him to sell the inheritance of his father to Ahab. Now this made Ahab very sad and he would not eat, but still he would not raise his hand against Nabath . But Jezebel his wife did not care and was not afraid, she said to him, “dost thou now govern the kingdom of Israel? Arise and eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give to you the vineyard of Nabath the Jezreelite . So she wrote letters in Ahab’s name and sealed them with his seal, and sent them unto the elders and to the nobles that were in his city dwelling with Nabath. Nabath set on high among the people: and Jezebel sent two men, the sons of Belial before him, to bear false witness against him saying, thou didst blaspheme god and the king, and they carried him out and stone him so he may die. And the men of his city, even the elders and the nobles who were the inhabitants in his city, did as Jezebel had sent unto them …1 st kings 21:7-11.

She totally manipulated and seduced the king, the men of his city, the elders and the nobles of Israel . She did all of this with cunning and craftiness, and subtly devised a plan with accuracy manipulating the minds of all the chief men of the kingdom. She caused men to lie and to kill an innocent man in the name of the righteousness… “But there was one name like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of Yahweh whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.” She went after what she wanted no matter what the cost. This one woman was responsible for corrupting the minds of the entire nation of Israel .

“Many strong men have been slain by her”

Proverbs 7:26 describes a seducing spirit…“For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.”

 The many strong men which are slain by her are the ministers and pastors of our time. It is important that we recognize this is not a woman, but a spirit, a principality that does not need a woman to operate. There is a large misconception in the church today which many ministers believe that the spirit of Jezebel is seeking and targeting only women. This is because they see some of the characteristics of Jezebel in these women, however if you look closely the spirit of Jezebel is after the Leadership. She needs the leaders in order to push her false doctrines on the minds of the people of Yahweh. Note: She calls herself a prophetess and she is a teacher of Yahweh’s people, and what does she teach? A doctrine of a devil. We must turn to the scripture to see who the spirit of Jezebel is seeking after.

1 kings 21:11… and the men of the city even the elders and the nobles who were the inhabitants of in his city did as Jezebel sent unto them.

1 kings 21:25…But there was none like unto Ahab which did sell unto himself to do that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh , whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.

Who is she pursuing? The inhabitants of the city which means anyone, but her main targets are men elders nobles kings and strong men . Even the king Israel, Ahab was a victim of Jezebels deceit. For the saints of Yahweh this means the spiritual brothers, ministers, elders, Evangelist, Deacons, pastors, apostles, and bishops. All the spiritual leaders of our kingdom are under her attack, and many don’t know it because they think this spirit will come in the form of some seductive woman. Remember, the spirit of Jezebel do not need a person, she can work directly on the minds of people. Keep in mind that in the old testament jezebel had over 800 prophets of Baal that would preach to the people of Yahweh. Her influence was so great until Elijah thought he was the only one left that hadn’t fallen into her trance… 1 kings 19:10 

Our society is filled with the prophets of Jezebel and they are serving Yahweh’s people platters of food that’s been sacrificed unto idols. Yahweh’s people are committing spiritual adultery against Yahweh and many in the church do not even recognize it. This is because the language presented to us makes it hard to understand. No one is literally eating things sacrificed unto idols, neither is there a physical woman named “Jezebel” that’s fornicating with men. Keep in mind that I am not talking about natural fornication, sexual lust and immorality. When Yahweh spoke in the old testament concerning Samaria and Jerusalem as two sister’s named Aholah and Aholibah, he said they play the harlot and they committed the whoredom and defiled themselves with idols (Ezek. 23:1-35)

Judges 8:33 …. children of Israel turned again, and went whoring after Baal and made Baal their god.

Ezek 16:28-30 … thou has played the whore also with the Assyrians because thou was insatiable, yea thou has played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied. Thou has moreover multiplied thy fornication in the land of Canaan unto Chaldea and yet thou was not satisfied herewith. How weak is thine heart saith Yahweh, seeing thou doest all these things, the work of an imperious whorish woman … he said that “Jerusalem was as a wife who has committed adultery, which taketh Strangers instead of a husband.”

The above passages are talking about spiritual adultery.

Rev. 2:20…“to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication,” It simply means that the evil spirit seduces Yahweh’s children in the same way a woman seduces a man. The fornication is not exactly the physical act of fornication, but when Yahweh’s bride (the church) seeks after other things and doctrines which interrupts the relationship that Yahweh has with his bride. These things can be considered gods if we choose to follow after them instead of the Yahshua Moshiach (Jesus Christ The Truth). To eat things sacrificed unto idols means to receive teachings and doctrines that are contrary to the teachings of the Holy Spirit and the word of Yahweh. I have no doubt on my mind that if any woman possesses the characteristics of Jezebel definitely has a serious problem and she may even be possessed by a demon, but we must understand the principality of Jezebel is mainly targeting men and spiritual leaders.

Notice the words of Paul in 1 timothy 4:1…Now the spirit speaketh expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.

2 timothy 4:2-6 preach the word be instant in season, out of season, reprove rebuke exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. But after their own lusts shall they heap unto themselves teachers having itching ears, and they shall turn away their ears from the truth , and shall be turned unto fables

The spirit of Jezebel is a seducing spirit, a principality that’s come forth in our time, teaching and seducing the people of Yahweh with doctrines of devils. The Holy Spirit revealed the spirit of Jezebel sitting in the church at Thyatira (Revelation 2:19-29) Please don’t be mistaken about who or what the spirit of Jezebel is. There is a difference between the spirit of Jezebel and the spirit of Lust that works in the world. These are entirely 2 very different entities at work, the spirit of lust is working freely in the world of unbelievers (2 Peter 1:4). It is the spirit of lust that you see in music, television and entertainment, this spirit needs an avenue or an open door to enter into the church. Yahweh’s people have escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. We are delivered from the power of darkness so that the spirit of lust cannot work in us. The only way the spirit of Lust can work in a believer is that he or she must provide an avenue for the spirit to work, and this is done through the spirit of Jezebel. The spirit of Jezebel brings a false doctrine, a false teaching that causes the word of Yahweh to be non effective in order for the spirit of lust to get in the church. An example would be this very known Statement that came from the spirit of Jezebel: “lord don’t move my mountain but give me the strength to climb it,” This statement has caused many of Yahweh’s people everywhere to be content with their problems and except sicknesses and weakness.

Jezebel brings false truths that can be mistaken as truth by causing the people of Yahweh to apply the truth wrongly or altering the truth so minutely that it is not even noticed. The spirit of Jezebel does this so that the saint does not have enough revelation or truth to be able to walk in the spirit, and what usually happens is the saint begins to express the works of the flesh instead of the fruits of the spirit. She wants to “teach and seduce” the people of Yahweh. She is a seducing spirit.

1 John 2 :26-27 …These things have I written unto you concerning themthat seduce you. 27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Even Yahshua Moshiach (Jesus Christ)  warned us about these seducing prophets; Mark 13: 22

2 timothy 3 :13… but evil men and seducers shall wax worse deceiving and being deceived.

The spirit of Jezebel got a hold of these men and turned them into seducing prophets using “false truth” and evil doctrines. Look for Jezebel to target the men of Yahweh, ministers, pastors, preachers deacons, evangelists, prophets, bishops, and elders. Anyone who has the authority to preach and teach. The spirit likes to operate through these offices in order to seduce the minds of people of Yahweh through some false teaching. This spirit hates Yahweh’s true holy prophets and would like to put them all to death.

Baal is depicted as the storm god who rides the cloud tops and brought freshening rains for vegetation and Baal was also the god that brought fertility to the land, people, and animals. Since Jezebel and her prophets were insisting that Baal was the god of fertility and the thunder god that would bring fresh water to the crops, this belief threatens the very faith of the people of Israel because they believed that the Yahweh of Israel had these claims. This is why there was such a battle between Jezebel and Elijah. The religion had already taken a hold of the peoples mind through force, and Jezebel would have anyone that opposed her policies executed which forced many true worshippers into hiding.

It was during the religious crisis that Elijah first appeared. Elijah said unto Ahab, “as the Yahweh of Israel liveth before whom I stand there shall be no dew or rain these years but according to my word, (1 kings 17:1) Yahweh did this to prove that He was the one true Yahweh that controlled the heavens and not Baal.

Who among us is bold enough to stand against the Ahabs in this world. Israel in these days were completely ruled by Ahab and Jezebel, and the majority of the churches today are in the same situation. Yahweh knew no doubt that Ahab would try to kill Elijah therefore he sent Elijah into hiding. Many of Yahweh’s true prophets today have gone into hiding because of the hold that Jezebel has on the churches.

There is a great drought in the land today because the so called “men of Yahweh” (spirit of Ahab) have allowed this spirit of Jezebel to seduce his people, and Yahweh has allowed this same type of drought to come on the people of Yahweh today. The drought is manifested when the word of Yahweh is not being preached in the fullness and therefore the virtue of Christ is not being manifested in the saints life. Their doctrines are full of leaven. The bible speaks of Christ being formed in you which is to produce the fruit of the spirit as you abide in him. The word of Yahweh preached is suppose go forth and quicken and bring life and power to believer. The word of Yahweh is become of non effect when it is diluted with leaven, a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. Many traditions and teachings are causing the word to become powerless, the word being preached is another gospel, the doctrine of a devil. Mark 7:11-13….Making the word of Yahweh of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered : and many such like things do ye.

In Revelation 2:22 Yahweh places Jezebel in a bed as a trap for the weak. I pray that you will open your eyes and not be tempted by her seduction.

The Spirit of Elijah

Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and Yahweh, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Most High of hosts

Malachi 4:5-6.…Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Most High: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

We all recognize Malachi 3:1 to be fulfilled by John the Baptist, and we believe that Malachi 4:5-6 will be fulfilled in the tribulation period and that he will be one of the two witnesses spoken of in Revelation 11:7-12, But there is one very important thing I want to point out about this prophecy. We must note that Yahshua told the disciples that John the Baptist is Elijah in Matthew 11:7-14.… And as they departed , Yahshua began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see ? A reed shaken with the wind? 8 But what went ye out for to see ? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold , they that wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses. 9 But what went ye out for to see ? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet. 10 For this is he, of whom it is written , Behold , I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence , and the violent take it by force . 13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.

This is impossible, how could John the Baptist be Elijah? Also in Mark 9:11-13.…And they asked him, saying , Why say the scribes that Elias must first come ? 12 And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought . 13 But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come , and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed , as it is written of him. Again Yahshua referring to Elijah as John the Baptist. In light of this I wanted to try to explain what is meant by the Master‘s statement. We have our answer if we read Luke 1:13-17…But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard ; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. 14 And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. 15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Master, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb. 16 And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to Yahweh. 17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for Yahweh.

Ah! It’s in vs. 17…“And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias(Elijah).” Now that we understand this we can see how Yahweh will deal with this modern day Jezebel. The Most High is sending forth prophets that will go forth in the same spirit and power of Elijah, they will challenge the doctrines of Jezebel, and they will cause the people to tear down the alters of Baal. They will challenge the many false doctrines in the churches, and they will try the very foundation of which many of our pastors stand upon. They will swing the sword at traditionalism and modern Christianity. Don’t look for them to be your average pulpit pimp that preaches for gain, they will be just like Elijah. Elijah didn’t run with the crowd, as a matter of fact he thought he was the only one standing against Jezebel and Baalism. Many in the churches are going to look at them strangely because they will be like John the Baptist, a voice crying in the wilderness. This is the only way to deal with Jezebel and this time Yahweh isn’t going to destroy Jezebel right away, he has placed her in a bed as judgment for those that are weak and those that will not take heed to the voice of the true prophets. Those that will not listen will be judged immediately and they will suffer lost. As to what this means I do not know, I can only say that this battle deals with truth and those that walk in the truth will be blessed. The conclusion is that Yahshua said “My sheep hear my voice and another they will not follow.” The battle of the end times have already begun and many will fall in defeat, and Yahweh is making ready his bride by washing her of water by the word of Yahweh: Ephesians 5:26-27…That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

We must be cleansed by the blood and the word. Are you being cleansed by the word?
