Statement of faith

WHAT WE BELIEVE

  1. We believe that the Messiah is the Son of the Father in Heaven, the creator of Heaven and earth. That the only way to salvation is through believing in the messiah by becoming born again and being a new Creature.
  2. We believe that a true believer in the Messiah must be baptized by water in the true name of the Messiah and filled with the Holy Spirit. We refer to this as the indwelling and out pouring of the Holy Spirit and that we must walk in the Spirit and live a righteous life.
  3. We believe that after a true believer receives the Holy Spirit he must accept the truth when it’s presented to him according to the scripture: Ye shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you free. John 4:24…God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
  4. We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of the Most High, but it has not been entirely interpreted correctly, and that it has been added to and much taken from it. Because of this, we believe it is our duty to do our own research into the original manuscripts and missing books.
  5. We believe that the Sabbath/Shabbat is the 7th day of the week(Saturday) and this is the true day of worship and rest. We believe that this is the day that the Messiah rose from the grave, and that the Roman Catholic church made Sunday the day of worship after the sun god. The term “first day of the week,” was added to replace the word Shabbaton(which means Sabbath).
  6. We believe in biblical end times prophecy and look for the signs that the bible speaks of. We understand what that according to the bible, we must work out own on salvation with fear and trembling that we must study to show ourselves approved in both biblical and natural understanding.
  7. We believe that our creator has made a way of escape for everyone through repentance but that it is up to the individual to ‘choose ye this day whom they will serve’ as stated in scripture.
  8. We believe that it is a requirement for believers to live a holy and set-apart life and not to be conformed to this world but to be transformed by the renewing of their minds as stated in Romans 12:2
