The Rapture Explained

The caught up is one of the most debated topics among believers today. If you were to go to Google on the internet and research caught up you would get 9.6 million hits. 25,000 videos on you tube alone! believers are debating back and forth, presenting their facts, and both sides have some pretty good facts. Before we get into these facts Let’s look the term caught up. The word itself is not in the bible, so where did the term originate from?

“caught up”, in the context of eschatology (the study of the final events in the history of the world), is an English word derived from the Latin rapio, “caught up” In the scriptures the words caught-up or caught-away and the Greek word for these are the same 726. Harpazó- to seize, catch up, snatch away It is written at least five times in the new testament, and in most cases the person was taken to heaven except for Philip, who was caught away (caught up) to Azotus. Hence we can determine that though the word caught up is not in the scriptures, the Greek equivalent caught-up is in the scriptures. caught up therefore means to be caught-up from one place to another. Based on this there are several examples of this in the scriptures, including the old testament, here are just a few:

Genesis 5:22-24.…Enoch was caught-up, “walked with YHWH, and was not, for YHWH took him,”

2 Kings 2:2, 11…Elijah was caught-up, “and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven

Ephesians 4:8.…Old Testament Saints were caught-up, “When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive” (the old testament saints that were captive were resurrected and also caught up to heaven)

Matthew 27:50-53.…50 Yahushua (J_sus), when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Acts 8:39….Philip was caught-up, “And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of YHWH caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.”

Acts 1:9-11…Yahushua (J_sus) was caught-up, “And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Yahushua (J_sus), which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”

2 Corinthians 2 -4 Paul was caught-up, “I knew a man in YHWH above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: YHWH knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: YHWH knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter

1 Thessalonians 4:17.…The body of Yahushua will be caught-up, “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet Yahushua (J_sus) in the air: and so shall we ever be with Yahushua.”

Revelation 11:12…The Two Prophets will be caught-up, “And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.”

Revelation 12:5 …. The Man Child will be caught-up, “And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto YHWH, and to his throne.”

Based on the above accounts we should be more opened minded about the caught up. YHWH has done caught ups in the past, and can and will do as many as he pleases, when ever he wants to. There is actually no telling how many private secret caught ups have happened in life. YHWH saw Enoch and he was pleased to take him, it is as simple as that. Many have tried to boxed YHWH in as to say that there will not be a secret caught up of the body of Yahushua, if YHWH can caught up one, he can caught up many. Who saw Paul when he was caught-up to the third heaven? Who can testify that it even happened? No witnesses, only Paul was able to tell of this account. This was a total secret until he told of it.

There are 3 basic theories that are presented:
Pre-tribulation caught up theory – this doctrine teaches that the caught up will occur before the tribulation period (the 7 years in which the Anti-christ will rise and rule)
Mid-tribulation caught up theory – this doctrine teaches that the body of Yahushua will endure the first half of the Tribulation period, to be caught up at some midpoint
Post-tribulation caught up theory – this doctrine teaches that the body of Yahushua will endure the entire Tribulation period and be caught upd at the very end.

These theories have been around for quite some time. I have studied these in depth and have found holes in each one of them. I have also discovered that they also contain a certain amount of truth. There is a good reason for this and if you study and rightly divide the scriptures closely, you will see the only logical and spiritual explanation for this is that there are 2 or more caught ups in the scriptures.

There is a 4th view that has immerged in these last days and it’s called the 2 caught up Theory- and is based on both pre & post tribulation caught ups. We strongly agree with the 2 caught up Theory since it is in harmony with the scriptures.

Let’s first view the main of the many holes in these doctrines:

The Holes in the pre-tribulation caught up doctrine are as follows:
1.) 1 Corinthians 15:51-52…Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

This scripture alone is a major hole in the pre-tribulation caught up theory, this show the time of the particular passage to be “at the last trump,” which will occur at the end of the tribulation period.

2.) 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17…For Yahushua (J_sus) himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of YHWH: and the dead in YHWH shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet Yahushua in the air: and so shall we ever be with Yahushua (J_sus).

This scripture is also major hole in this theory, This scripture does not mention a time of caught up, thus it cannot be used to prove the pre-trib theory.

3.) Matthew 24:29-31…Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

This scripture is in fact the biggest blow to the pre-tribulation caught up theory. I was a pre-trib believer for years but when we read this passage, there was no disputing that this was talking about post-tribulation caught up. This matches with (1 Corinthians 15:51-52) both scriptures mention the trump of YHWH. Also it is clear in the scriptures that Matthew 24:15-28 is about the tribulation period. These scripture are facts and cannot be explained away by any man made teachings. These holes can also be applied to the mid-tribulation theory. There are actually more holes than these, but I wanted to limited it to only the major ones.

The Holes in the post-tribulation caught up doctrine are as follows:

1. If the entire body of believers were to be caught upd after the tribulation then why would Yahushua (J_sus) make this statement: Luke 21:34-36…And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
We are told to watch and pray always, for what? “that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass,” What things that shall come to pass? When the day of YHWH comes and the entire earth is caught into a snare. This is the Tribulation period, and if we are accounted worthy we can escape it, How? There is only 2 ways to escape the tribulation period, death or caught up, and this doesn’t sound like the Yahushua (J_sus) was telling us to pray for death.

3. This is a major hole in the Post-tribulation caught up view. The terminology isn’t lining up with the post-trib theory. Terms like watch and thief. What need would there be to watch if we know exactly when Yahushua (J_sus) is coming. If the caught up were to only happen at the last trump then believers could just wait till the sixth Angel sound his trumpet in Revelation 9:14. We could just count the days since the tribulation period will last 7 years (2555 days) we could just do a count down. The word says no man know the day nor the hour, but we could just wait till 2554 day and then get ready. Knowing that Yahushua (J_sus) would not come before the end violates the very principle of the scriptures. Matthew 25:13…Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

4. Post-tribers do not accept the idea of a secret caught up; yet its followers forget the word “Behold, I come as a thief,” (Revelation 16:15) A thief comes secretly, is never preceded by a band, and always steal the best. Base on this we can just wait until we see the moon turn red and just look up, or we could just wait til the 6th year 364th day of the tribulation. Which totally violates the thief theory, If a thief came to a house to steal on an announced day, and sound an alarm then he’s not coming as a thief.

5. There is a failure in the Post-tribulation caught up view to distinguish between the caught up and the appearing of Yahushua(J_sus), there is a difference between Yahushua  coming for the saints and Yahushua coming with the saints.

6. Were all of us believers to be caught up after the great tribulation, then our waiting would not be a waiting for Yahushua (J_sus) but for the Antichrist, since the latter must come first.

7. The body of Yahushua would lose their blessed hope- “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great YHWH and our Saviour Yahushua Moshiach (J_sus Christ).” Titus 2:13 for included in this hope is the blessing of escaping the tribulation.

8. He comes on the WORLD as a thief and those believers that are not watching. We are to watch the signs and know that were are getting closer to the time, but of that “DAY” and “HOUR” no one knows. Certain things we will know in the The first and second caught up but, the first caught up no one can know the day or hour and the reasons why is the way Harvesting of the wheat is done.

These are the facts as presented. Both groups failure to accept the truth that each side presents is what makes their doctrine weak. Truth is truth, this is why we are able to come to the conclusion that there are 2 or more caught ups in the scriptures.

There is a pre-tribulation caught up and a post-tribulation resurrection/caught up. In the pre-trib caught up he comes as a thief and no man knows the day hour, not Yahushua (J_sus), nor the angels. As a thief he steals the first fruits, them that are ready, like a thief he comes quietly and there is no trump of Yah. In the Post-trib caught up/resurrection the angels know the time, this is why he sounds the trump and we are even told in the word exactly when he will come, at the last trump.

Lets try this doctrine by the word, and see what the word says concerning the 2 caught up theory. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52….Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Daniel 12:4 …But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

The first thing we must understand is that this is a mystery that will not be revealed until the last days. The word mystery in Greek is musterion: a secret or mystery, English meaning is a religious belief based on divine revelation.
This is the word Paul use to describe the caught up and the use of this word proves further that it is something hard to understand, and will require revelation from YHWH.

The Harvest of Wheat:

The key to unlocking this mystery is in the reaping of wheat. I believe the actual feast of harvest in the old testament typifies how the harvest that shall be carried out in the last days. Yahushua (J_sus) said In Matthew 13:24-30… 24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. 26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Let’s take a look at the Torah to further our understanding on the Harvest. There are 2 stages of the Harvest: the gathering of the first fruits, and the ingathering of the full harvest. In Numbers 18:13… And whatsoever is first ripe in the land, which they shall bring unto YHWH, shall be thine; every one that is clean in thine house shall eat of it. The farmer reaps when the wheat is ripened. He gathers into the garner what he cuts: he does not leave the wheat in the field. The reaping of the first fruits comes after the ripening just before the main          harvest.

Exodus: 23:15-19
15 Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:) 16 And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. 17 Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before YHWH. 18 Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning. 19 The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of YHWH. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.

The scripture below is Exodus: 23:15-16 from the Torah in Hebrew and translated to English at the link below:
http://bible.ort.org/books/torahd5.asp?action=displaypage&book=

23:15- Keep the Festival of Matzahs. Eat matzahs for seven days, as I commanded you, during the prescribed time in the month of standing grain, since this is when you left Egypt. Do not appear before Me empty-handed.

This is the same scripture from the Torah:
Et-chag hamatsot tishmor shiv’at yamim tochal matsot ka’asher tsiviticha lemo’ed chodesh ha’aviv ki-vo yatsata miMitsrayim velo-yera’u fanay reykam.

23:16 -[Also keep] the Reaping Festival, through the first fruits of your produce that you planted in the field. [There is also] the Harvest Festival [right after] the end of the year, when you gather your produce from the field.

This is the same srcipture from the Torah:
Vechag hakatsir bikurey ma’aseycha asher tizra basadeh vechag ha’asif betset hashanah be’ospecha et-ma’aseycha min-hasadeh.

According to the scriptures the gathering of the first fruits must come first before the actual harvest. But in this passage above Yahushua (J_sus) doesn’t mention the gathering of the first fruits and Why? Did he know about the law pertaining to the feast of Harvest? Yes, He did know about it and yet kept silent about it. Yahushua (J_sus) did not reveal to the disciples about the first fruits because it wasn’t time to reveal it. Daniel 12:4 …But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

The first fruits are Believers who are watching and are ready to be caught up. Those that are counted worthy, and that have kept his word and did not deny his name. Exodus 23:19…The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of YHWH. (In the first caught up they are caught upd to the throne) We learn that the first fruits are not left in the field since as soon as they are ripened they are brought to the house of YHWH. There are 2 parts of the Harvest to come in the last days. This shows that a partial caught up of the body of Yahushua will take place be before the great tribulation, and a full ingathering of the body of Yahushua at the end of the great tribulation and thus we have the end of the harvest in Revelation 14:14-20.

Revelation 14:14-20 only shows the first part of the first fruits gathering of the harvest and the gathering of the tares afterwards , Yahushua (J_sus) mentions in Mathew 13:30… Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. Matthew 13:20 shows the gathering of the tares then the end gatherings of those that did not make the first fruits gathering.  Rev. 14:17-20 is actually the “gathering of the tares as in Mathew 24:24:29

Notice the first Angel looks in the temple on earth to see if the believers are ready then he lets Yahshua knows that he can gather his people, then the second angel looks in the temple in heaven, why? To make sure that those that were there, then he tells the other angel with the sickle to go ahead and gather the grapes (wicked people) and cast them into the wrath of Yah.

This event takes place at the end of the tribulation, the body of Yahushua at this time(those that converted during the tribulation and the 144,000 Hebrews and also those that were left behind from the first caught up) They are not caught up to the throne like those that took place in the first caught up, they are only caught up to meet Yahushua (J_sus) in the air as he comes back with the other saints. They are only caught and translated to meet Yahushua in the air and then they come down to execute judgment on the earth. Thus we have the Apostle Paul says “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet Yahushua (J_sus) in the air: and so shall we ever be with Yahushua (J_sus).” This all occurs at the last trump. In the first caught up the saints are caught up to the throne and Yahushua (J_sus) does not meet them in the air.

Many are confused about this because of the language spoken. This is why there is so much confusion about the caught up. The language that’s spoken needs to be understood. Terms like “coming” and “day of YHWH” need to be looked at a little deeper. When we see the “coming,” the word in Matthew 24:3 is parousia (“presence”). This greek word carries within its meaning a very broad scope. When you line up all the scriptures that use this word “coming” we see: Matt. 24:3, 24:39, James 5:7, 2Peter 3:4, 1Thess 2:19, 3:13, 4,15-17, 5:23, 1Corth 15:23, 2Thess. 2:1, 2:8, 2:9, 1John 2:28

As you can see it covers the first caught up, tribulation, and great tribulation, Yahushua (J_sus) descending in the air, the general caught up of believers to the air, the resurrection of the dead in YHWH and the appearing of Yahushua (J_sus) with the saints. There is only one future coming of Yahushua (J_sus) but as you can see it covers a good amount of time.

Likewise with “the day of YHWH,” When you line up all the scriptures that use the phrase “day of YHWH” we see: Isaiah 2:12, 13:6, 13:9, Jeremiah 46:10, Ezekiel 30:3, Joel 1:15, 2:1, 2:11, 2:31, 3:14, Amos 5:18,20, Obadiah 1:15, Zephaniah 1:7, 1:14, 14:1, Malachi 4:5, Acts 2:20, 1-Corinthians 5:5, 2-Corinthians 1:14, 1-Thessalonians 5:2, 2-Peter 3:10

As you can see these scriptures also covers more than one day, from the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit fell on the believers, to the Millennial when Yahushua (J_sus) reigns.

What does this means? Well, it means that this “day of YHWH” is not one day as many suppose it is. It too is over a period of time: 2 Peter 3:8… But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with YHWH as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Other mistakes made by teachers is that they assume that the body of Yahushua is not mentioned beyond Revelation chapter 3, and the number that no man could number comes out of the great tribulation period. These are both wrong assumptions. Revelation 7:9-17

It is impossible for the great tribulation in the passage to be referring to the tribulation period. The reason for this is the number that no man could number. Today’s population is around 7 billion people, and since the body of Yahushua is to be a small remnant of those people, it is therefore impossible to get a number that no man could number out of the tribulation period. Such a numberless multitude who “come out of great tribulation” mentioned in the Revelation 7 passage must therefore have reference to those overcoming saints that come out of great tribulation experience by all believers throughout the last 2000 years of body of Yahushua history.

People are confused by the terminology in these passages, and when they see the word tribulation they automatically think this is referring to the tribulation period. Lets for one moment not use the term tribulation for this period, the reason for this is tribulation is tribulation, and the body of Yahushua or the true Hebrews have been going through tribulation since the time of the book of Acts. If you look up the word tribulation in the new testament there is tribulation before and after the caught up. Also there two groups or people that the scriptures refer to that will go through tribulation: the Hebrews before the tribulation period and the Hebrews after the tribulation period.

The “day of YHWH” is from the time that Yahushua (J_sus) last walked the earth until the end of “the time of Jacob’s trouble.” More than a 2000 yr period. Now since the scriptures names the 7 years period written in Daniel “the time of Jacob’s trouble,” we can now gather that this is the time that the Hebrews will suffer great tribulation. This all makes since and lines up with the word, Also when we look at Mark 13:14 mentions Daniel 9:27. Also in vs. 24-27

Read matt 24:29-31, Luke 21:25-28

The First caught up

Scriptures that support a pre-tribulation caught up are as follows:

The Man Child of Revelation 12

The woman is of the nation of Israel. The crown of twelve stars is the twelve tribes of Israel. She is travailing in birth…(Isaiah 26:17 Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O YHWH.)

The man child she gave birth to is the body of Yahushua, not the whole body of Yahushua but the over comers of this age, they was to rule all nations with a rod of iron (Rev 2:26-27…And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.) Also in Revelation 19:14-21 We read that not only Yahushua (J_sus) comes, but the armies that followed him on white horses as he comes to rule them with a rod of iron. These 2 passages show that Yahushua (J_sus) rules and we shall rule with him.

The woman is Jerusalem that gives birth to the body of Yahushua, she is our mother. (Galatians 4:26…But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.)

The Man Child in this passage cannot be Yahushua (J_sus) only, but it includes Yahushua (J_sus), and the body of Yahushua, the bride of the Messiah. The reasons are as follows
1. This man child is not personal but corporate in character as you can see in Rev. 12:10-11
2. Should this man child be Yahushua (J_sus), the dragon would then be Herod, yet Rev. 12:9 states explicitly that the dragon is Satan himself.
3. The timing is not correct to call the man child Yahushua (J_sus) only. If we look a the change that Satan has made over the years, in the garden he is called “that old serpent, called the Devil” and now in Revelation chapter 12 we see that he has matured into a red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. He has been busy over the years gathering kingdoms and leaders which links him to the last days. This cannot be Herod. This is not a story of what took place in the past, but about what will take place in the future.

The Man Child represents Yahushua (J_sus) and the Body of Yahushua the bride(He is the first born among many brethren) I believe this to be prophecy of the future caught up of the bride that will occur before the great tribulation:

The man child (the body of Yahushua overcomers of this age) will be caught-up, this event will come upon them, as travail upon a woman with child…(1 Thessalonians 5: 1-9 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of YHWH so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9 For YHWH hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Yahushua Moshiach (J_sus Christ).

The tribulation starts immediately after the man child is caught-up. Note afterwards the woman (Jerusalem) flees into the wilderness for 1,260 days (3½ years) the same as in Matthew 24:16-21… Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

The catching away of the man child (the partial caught up of the body of Yahushua) is what sparks a war in heaven. Satan comes after the man child, but he and his angels will be thrown out of heaven.

Rev 12:12-14… Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhibitors of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. 13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he . 14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

Note: The woman was in the wilderness for 1,260 days (3½ years) and now the Devil and his angels come down to the earth with great wrath and the first thing he does is persecute the woman which brought forth the man child. The scripture makes it clear that Satan knows that he now has but a short time, and this short time is the remaining 3½ years of the great tribulation.
She (The woman) flees again into the wilderness for a time, and times, and half a time(the remaining 3½) this phrase is almost identical with the passage below:

See Daniel 7:25…And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the mostHigh, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

The “he” that shall speak words against the Most High is the so-called antichrist or Satan’s children that shall wear out the saints and kill them during this remaining period of 3½ years. This is the remnant of her (the woman) seed that the serpent makes war with.

The great wings of an eagle: Rev 12:14 (KJV)…And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

This is indeed another rapture, but not to heaven but to a place where Yah has prepared for his bride, and it occurs during the mid tribulation period.

Rev 12:15-17… And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. 16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of YHWH, and have the testimony of  Yahushua Moshiach (J_sus Christ).

This passage clearly shows that there will be a caught-up (the 1st caught up) of believers just before the tribulation. Many call this the secret caught up of the body of Yahushua. And they say that it is not scriptural, but as you can see it is in fact all over the scriptures. YHWH does secret caught ups all the time and there are several in the word of YHWH. caught up means to be caught-up, transported from one place to another. Enoch, Elijah, Philip, and Paul had all experienced a secret caught up. The body of Yahushua will very soon, and the two Prophets also will be caught-up during the tribulation period. The saints at the end of the tribulation will be caught-up also.

Luke 21:36…Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

What do we pray for? That we are worthy to escape the tribulation. How can we escape all these things? (the things in Luke 21:20-28) Either death or caught up are the only ways to escape the tribulation. Now we can all agree that Yahushua (J_sus) would not ask us to pray for death, so the method of escape must be the caught up.

Matthew 24:36-44…Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come

This is a true example of the pre-tribulation caught up. The phrase “shall be taken,” has one greek word attached to it “paralambano” which means: to receive near. So this passage should read “Then shall two be in the field; the one (to receive near), and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one (to receive near), and the other left. Post tribulation believers believe interpret this to mean that the one taken is the unbelievers and the destruction of the wrath of YHWH will come to take the away like in the days of Noah. However is, my question is how can this be so if the scriptures clearly states from the Greek word paralambano means “to receive near,” those to receive near to Yahushua (J_sus), since it was him that was talking.

There is a distinguishing difference between the caught up and the appearing of Yahushua (J_sus). There is a difference between Yahushua (J_sus) coming for the saints and Yahushua (J_sus) coming with the saints. That which was prophesied, as recorded in Jude, points to the coming of Yahushua (J_sus). “And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, Yahushua (J_sus) cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” (Jude 14-15) When his feet step down on the Mount of Olives.

Luke 21:36 also proves that not all believers but only the first fruits will be caught up before the Tribulation

The record in Luke can be outlined as follows:

21:8-9.….the things before the end
21:10-19.…believers will suffer
21:20-28.…how Jerusalem will be destroyed (verse 28 seems to suggest that the saints will all pass through the Tribulation)

21:29-33…a parable guaranteeing the certainty of these things to come
21:34-36…Were it not for this passage, it might be inferred that the whole body of believers would surely be caught up after the Tribulation: yet verse 35 shows that the things mentioned earlier concern the whole inhabited world, and verse 36 presents the condition for escaping the Great Tribulation-which is to watch and pray.

How are believers to escape all these coming things and to stand before the Son of man? Naturally by being caught up. Death is not a blessing: we do not pray and expect death. What are we to pray for? Pray that we may escape all these things that shall come to pass.

Mark 13:32…states, “But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.” but 1 Thessalonians 4:16…declares that “Yahushua (J_sus) himself descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of YHWH.” From this second passage we know that the appearing of Yahushua (J_sus) is after the sounding of the 7th trumpet. And hence the first passage relates to pre-tribulation caught up while the second relates to post-tribulation caught up

The Seven churches or assemblies is the body of Yahushua

Revelation 3:10… Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

This was spoken to one of the seven assemblies in Revelation, they are promised to not have to go through the tribulation, “the hour of temptation which shall try the entire planet and all them that dwell on the earth.

The seven assemblies in revelation represent the entire body of Yahushua (J_sus), notice only one body of Yahushua of seven Yahushua (J_sus) made this promise of escaping the tribulation, the other six assemblies were not promised this. That means only those that keep the “word of my patience,” as Yahushua (J_sus) stated, will endure the tribulation. That’s 1/7 of the Born-again, Spirit filled believers that are walking in the light. The other assemblies all had sin problems and YHWH even warned them saying ‘repent, do your first works and I’ll remove your candle stick if you don’t” and again he said to another “repent or I’ll come quickly” and to the assembly at Sardis he said “Repent and If thou shall not watch I will come on thee as a thief”

6/7 of the assemblies will go through the tribulation, and this doesn’t include the other millions of religious believers who are not truly born-again Spirit filled believers. Are you watching and Praying that you are worthy to escape the tribulation?

The Language of these events

The language of the events covering the caught up cannot be ignored, listen to the language in these scriptures below:

Luke 17:27-29…Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded

The language of this scriptures dictates that this happens at a time when life is as usual, and if the caught up was to take place at the end of the tribulation when billions have already been killed by YHWH’s wrath, no one would be doing these things. The bible describes that during the Tribulation period men will cry out for the rocks to cover them: Revelation6:15-17 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? This is actually how everyday life will be, full of turmoil and destruction.

Luke 17:34-36… 34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Again look at the language, everyday life as usual. Here is another scripture that many over look in 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3, 9 ….2.For yourselves know perfectly that the day of YHWH so cometh as a thief in the night. 3. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 9. For YHWH hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Yahushua Moshiach (J_sus Christ).

At the time of the there shall be “peace and safety,” and notice when it says then comes sudden destruction, after the peace and safety, and what is this sudden destruction that comes? It is the wrath of YHWH, which YHWH has not appointed us to go through, but how are we to escape it? Look at the language here, this passage is referring to the coming of Yahushua (J_sus), which will be as a thief in the night.

Many post tribulation believers ignore the language of the writer. When Yahushua (J_sus) comes and every eye shall see him it is at the end of the tribulation, in the midst of turmoil and destruction, this is the post tribulation caught up. When the pre tribulation caught up occurs it will be a time of everyday normal living, people will be at peace, safety, building, planting, sowing, banqueting, and given into marriage.

In talking about the passage 2 Thessalonians 2:1-10 the very fact that the readers of the letter had become alarmed is because they thought they had missed the caught up, or being gathered together to Yahushua (J_sus). They were hearing false reports that the “day of YHWH” had already arrived, a term often used for a period of divine judgment as well as referring to the Glorious Appearing. By having this scriptural record of the fears which the body of Yahushua in Thessalonica had, and Paul’s response to it, we have been given another piece of evidence that Paul had been teaching a pre-tribulation caught up. It is because of this teaching that they were alarmed, thinking they had missed the caught up and that the “Day of YHWH” had already arrived.’

If Paul had been teaching post tribulation Rapture they would have know that it hadn’t taken place yet without seeing the wrath of YHWH, or even seeing Yahushua (J_sus). Why would they believe that the caught up had taken place if they did not see Yahushua (J_sus) in the air? It says “every eye shall see him,” this is because they knew that in the first caught up they would not see him in the air, and they would be caught upd directly to the throne.

This also is seen in 2 Timothy 2:17-18….17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; 18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

It is thus very important that we look at the language that’s being spoken.

The Marriage Supper Of the Lamb

When does the Marriage Supper of the Lamb take place? Before or After the second coming of Yahushua? The Answer proves that there is a pre-trib “Caught-up” of the Saints before the post-trib “Caught-up” of the remaining Saints.  In the Matthew 25 (the ten virgins) are waiting to go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, and in Revelation 19:6-10… The Marriage Supper of the Lamb takes place first before he even returns, and vs 11-21…shows the return of Yahushua with the Saints, and will take place at the time of the last trump. How can there be a Marriage supper of the lamb with out the Bride?

It gets even more interesting, in Matthew 22:1-14….The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come

How can we go to the wedding of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb if it has already taken place when he returns? Notice in Luke 12:36…  And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

Here the saints are waiting for the messiah to come back from the wedding, also in Revelation 19:6-10 He’s coming back from the marriage supper of the lamb with the saints.

The fact is the first believrs, the five wise virgins, the body of Yahushua is caught up to the Most High before his throne. They are AliYah (Ascended to Yah) for the wedding or marriage supper of the Lamb. Then when the Messiah returns as in the Revelation passage he returns with the saints, and the saints that were left behind that have repented that endured the tribulation,  will be translated and meet him in the air at the last trump.

Take a look at this statement by Maranatha – Lisa Taylor

In Secret

There is a passage in the book of John that expressly links Jesus Christ to the Feast of Tabernacles. It states that the Lord’s brothers mock him for not having a more public ministry. “Therefore Jesus told them, ‘The right time for me has not yet come; for you any time is right. The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify that what it does is evil. You go to the Feast. I am not yet going up to this Feast, because for me the right time has not yet come.’ Having said this, he stayed in Galilee. However, after his brothers had left for the Feast, he went also, not publicly, but in secret. Now at the Feast the Hebrews were watching for him and asking, ‘Where is that man?’ …. Not until halfway through the Feast did Jesus go up to the temple courts and begin to teach.” John 7:6-14.

It is interesting that Jesus initially attends the Feast of Tabernacles in secret. People often criticize us for believing in a “secret” caught up. Wouldn’t it be something if this passage is a hint for when and how Christ will come for us? Since the Feast of Tabernacles is a multi-day festival, no one would know the day or hour that He would come. But rest assured that Christ will come at the right time.

Based on this study I can only conclude that there will be a pre-tribulation partial caught up of believers, and there will also be a post-tribulation rapture of those that remain.

Shalom, Watchman Yahu
